I'm a security engineer by trade, a decade keeping banks and retailers safe, plus a master's in cyber intelligence. But the place that shaped IGNIFY was a music academy in Kansas City, where I built the secure systems behind its lessons, payments and encrypted calls. So I'm building the operating layer I wished they'd had, in the open, alongside our first studios, and I treat your students' data the way I treated a bank's.

Nearly a decade architecting and scaling automation systems in regulated enterprise environments. At Cognizant I ran a client portfolio worth around $150K a month and pushed automation platforms to 200% more throughput, handling PHI and PII to the standard healthcare demands. I build lean, cost-optimized systems, and that's the discipline I bring to IGNI.
Ten years of certified enterprise cloud across AWS, Azure and GCP, on top of a longer career in IT. I've built and scaled platforms that cut cost and ship faster without giving up enterprise-grade governance, and now I keep IGNIFY fast, secure and boring, in the best possible way.
I'm a concert pianist, three returns to Carnegie Hall, and I built a music academy in Kansas City from nothing. I know a studio owner's week from the inside, and I bring our community together. I am, quite literally, the teacher we're building this for.
IGNI is the intelligence inside IGNIFY, a writing assistant for the part most teachers dread: the report. Record a lesson and IGNI transcribes it, picks out what actually happened, and writes a clear, plain-language draft a parent can read in seconds, usually in under three minutes, for about a penny. You give it a read, add the bit only you noticed, and send it.

So we run light. IGNIFY is serverless: no machine hums in a data center while you sleep. It wakes for the second a lesson is saved or a report is written, then settles back to zero. We keep the stack lean, run it in efficient regions, and we're measuring what is left so we can keep cutting it. A small thing next to the planet, we know. We take it seriously anyway.
