A note from the founder.
For the people who light the way.

I come from teachers. I'm the youngest of five, raised in a family of seven, and all but one of us are or have been educators, at universities, conservatories, colleges, and studios. So I grew up knowing what it costs. I watched them walk a student to the door with a smile, then watched that smile drop into exhaustion the moment the last one left. They loved it then. They love it still. You have to be born for this work, born with the patience, the empathy, the love it asks for every day. It takes guts to teach, whether you coach boxing, lead a yoga class, or sit beside a child at a piano.
I'd known all of that my whole life. In 2015 I felt it up close, when my sister moved her teaching out of her living room and into a studio of her own. Overnight she was the janitor, the front desk, the accountant, and the marketer, and only then the teacher. It took her years to turn a profit, and she never quit.
Watching everything she took on is why, in 2023, I promised to build her an app to run the place. She laughed it off. In 2024 I started building; in 2025 the Music Academy of Kansas City went live on it. It was maybe a tenth of what IGNIFY™ is today, and it still changed her days. I remember the excitement in her eyes, and, more than that, the gratitude. That was when it clicked: if a sliver of this could do that for one studio, it could do it for all of them.
I already knew the problem from the other side of the door. I'm a father of two boys, now seven and four, and between them we've done piano, swim, drama, jiu-jitsu, and plenty in between. Every activity had its own app, its own login, its own thing to install. The jiu-jitsu app meant nothing to the music school; the swim system never spoke to drama. None were easy to use, and none felt safe with my children's information. The owner's side and the parent's side were the same broken system, seen from two sides. Enough was enough. I gathered a few people I trust, shared the vision, and IGNIFY was born.
We named it for something I've carried since I was a boy: a candle that melts as it lights the candles around it, giving itself away, losing nothing, leaving the room warmer than it found it. That is the teacher. That is the studio owner. To ignify is to kindle, to set alight, and that is the whole point.
So in the end this is a company built out of love. For the teachers, who give themselves away for far too little back. For the owners, who keep the ship afloat through storms that never let up. For the students, grown and small, and the parents behind them, who give a full day to work and still come home and carry on. For the people who light the way.
I hope, with everything I have, that we make their days a little lighter.
Much love,
Allamyrat, with Eziz and Deniz
