Is IGNIFY really free for students and families?
Yes, always. Students and their families never pay to use IGNIFY. They get the schedule, the bill, messaging, and every lesson report at no cost. It is not a freemium trial or a parent upsell. The studio pays for the platform, and the family app stays free.
What does a studio actually pay?
One flat rate per location, with unlimited teachers and students. The Standard plan is 69 dollars per location per month at public launch and includes 30 IGNI hours a month. There is also a free Studio Starter plan, and a Premium plan for growing or multi-location studios. Founding studios get founder pricing for life.
Do you charge per teacher or per student?
No. Teachers and students are unlimited on every paid plan, and pricing is per location, so you can add your whole team and your whole roster without your bill going up. Many incumbents raise the price as you add students or charge a fee for every staff member. IGNIFY does not. The one thing we meter is IGNI, the AI that drafts your reports.
What are IGNI hours, and why do you meter them?
IGNI is the AI that drafts a progress report after a lesson. Unlike scheduling or messaging, each report has a real cost, because we transcribe the class and then draft it. So teachers and students stay unlimited and free, and the one thing we meter is IGNI. Each plan includes a monthly pool of IGNI hours, which is the amount of lesson audio IGNI turns into teacher-approved reports. Standard includes 30 hours a month and Premium includes 100. Free plans include a small pool so you can try it.
What happens if I run out of IGNI hours?
Nothing breaks. Everything except new AI report drafting keeps working, and you can add an IGNI hour pack at any time or move up a plan. Hours reset at the start of each month and do not roll over, which keeps pricing simple and predictable.
Is there really a free plan for studios?
Yes. Studio Starter is free for a single teacher with up to three students. It includes the calendar, explore, community, chat, and video. It is a genuine way to start, not a time-limited trial.
